Ontario’s online gaming market includes sites offered by operators registered with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and contracted with iGaming Ontario (iGO). OLG.ca operates under a separate provincial arrangement. The quickest independent check is iGO’s official directory of regulated gaming websites.
Check the exact address
- Open iGaming Ontario’s regulated market directory yourself.
- Search for the brand and compare the exact website address shown there with the address in your browser. A familiar logo or similar name is not enough.
- Confirm the category you intend to use—casino, sports betting, or poker—and review the site’s own terms, limits, and help options.
Directory entries can change. Recheck them before publishing a comparison or creating an account. To wager on regulated private-operator sites in Ontario, a player must be at least 19 and physically located in Ontario.
What regulation does—and does not—mean
Ontario’s regulated market sets standards for game integrity, player protection and responsible gambling. It does not mean a player is likely to win, and it does not make gambling a way to earn income. A game’s house edge remains.
If a site is missing
Do not assume the operator is authorized for Ontario because it serves Canadians elsewhere. Check iGO’s current directory and the operator’s own Ontario terms. If the listing is unclear, use iGO’s player information before proceeding.
